S.B.: This little germ bored into my mind early this morning, somewhere between 5:00 and 6:00 while I tried to wake up, and it wouldn't let go. So, scrapping the story I had planned, I quickly wrote this one down, and here is the result. A bit hasty, but I hope it works.
Stephen, I hope this was meant to be humour because I was wiping tears of laughter from my eyes reading it.

Steve: Yes, I meant it to be humorous, which can be a challenge. What sounded funny to me while writing could be something silly to someone else. Seeing your response, however, was like a breath of cool mountain air: refreshing. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteOh this was great - mad scientist stuff is always a lot of fun, and this is one of the best theories yet for how zombies might start!

ReplyDeleteIcy: Thanks. The whole Zombie thing was part of the evolution in this story. It started out one way and then suddenly took a turn halfway through, and I knew where it would finally end up.
I'm a day late and a dollar short but I'll say congrats on the pub and look forward to catching it there.
